We have got to know him as a very dedicated and skillful young man!

In May 2025 and January 2026, I visited Cordova and the surrounding region with the Artists for Nature Foundation. Robert was our guide for both residencies and worked in collaboration with the participating artists, the ANF, and the Native Conservancy to deliver the project's aims.
Robert's brief was to show off the region's fantastic biodiversity - to effectively and safely transport and deliver the artists to as many different sites as possible – all the while taking into account the various challenges, hurdles, and obstacles that presented themselves along the way. To this end, I cannot recommend Robert's services highly enough: Robert's extensive local knowledge of the flora and fauna of the region and his ability to take us to the right place and the right time had a huge impact on the ability of the artists to work effectively, and thus the success of the project.
The participating artists greatly appreciated Robert’s competence and professionalism and felt safe at all times, despite being taken out of our comfort zones. Equally importantly, Robert’s enthusiasm and unique humour ensured that we kept our collective spirits up during some quite challenging and long days out ‘in the bush’.
I would not hesitate to recommend Robert’s services to anyone wishing to explore the region’s incredible natural beauty and diversity.
